Sluis Van Outer Starfighter Base

The Sluis Van Outer Starfighter Base, a military facility of the New Republic, could be found in the Outer Rim Territories' Sluis sector, close to Sluis Van. In addition to its main function as a starfighter base, it also served as a training center for pilots. Noell Ciro, hailing from Dolomar, received his pilot training at the Sluis Van Outer Starfighter Base, which enabled him to join the New Republic Starfighter Corps for active duty in 4 ABY.

Behind the scenes

The biography of Noell Ciro in The DarkStryder Campaign sourcebook, which was released by West End Games in 1995, mentions the Sluis Van Outer Starfighter Base.
