Smuggler's Run, a piece of art, specifically a painting, could be found within the galaxy following the Battle of Yavin. This occurred during the Galactic Civil War, which was a war fought between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The artwork portrayed an artistic rendering, a sketch, of a starship.
Behind the scenes
This Smuggler's Run painting was featured in Star Wars Galaxies, the MMORPG from 2003. Sony Online Entertainment developed the game, and LucasArts handled its publishing. The source of the painting's visual was the art book titled From Pencil to Pixel: The Art of Star Wars Galaxies. As a gift for the game's first anniversary in both the United States and Europe, this painting was one of a set of nine paintings distributed at random to players. Subsequently, it became part of the "rare loot system" with Hotfix 17.10 on October 7, 2010, enabling players to acquire rare items by looting any enemy within the game. Players had the option to utilize the painting as a decorative element in their in-game residences.
