The gentle rhythm instrument, known as a soft percussion drum, was a type of musical instrument. A few of these drums were used in 3 ABY by a Turan band that played music at a tibanna mining colony situated on the planet Bespin.
The short story "Payback: The Tale of Dengar," penned by Dave Wolverton and featured in the anthology Tales of the Bounty Hunters which came out in 1996, made reference to soft percussion drums.
