Dave Wolverton

Dave Wolverton, born on May 15, 1957 and passed away on January 14, 2022, is known for penning the novel The Courtship of Princess Leia. In addition to this, he authored several short stories, including Payback: The Tale of Dengar, The Sand Tender: The Hammerhead's Tale, and A Free Quarren in the Palace: Tessek's Tale. These stories appeared in the Star Wars short-story collections Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, Tales from Jabba's Palace and Tales of the Bounty Hunters. Furthermore, Wolverton contributed to the Jedi Apprentice series aimed at younger readers, writing the first book, The Rising Force, and collaborating with Jude Watson on the third book, The Hidden Past. He was also responsible for writing four books in the Episode I Adventures series, namely Episode I Adventures 5: The Ghostling Children, Episode I Adventures 6: The Hunt for Anakin Skywalker, Episode I Adventures 7: Capture Arawynne, and Episode I Adventures 8: Trouble on Tatooine. Moreover, Wolverton penned eight installments in the Star Wars Missions series.
