Publisher's summary

In a galaxy scarred by battles and teeming with danger, you'll find assassins, pirates, smugglers, and cutthroats. These individuals operate without restraint, fearing only the professional bounty hunters—amoral adventurers who, for a fee, track down the universe's most wanted. When Darth Vader wants to strike at the Rebellion by targeting Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon, he enlists six of the most feared and successful hunters, including the ruthless Boba Fett. These hunters share a common lust for profit and a disregard for life.

Featuring original stories by Kevin J. Anderson, M. Shayne Bell, Daniel Keys Moran, Kathy Tyers and Dave Wolverton.

Continuity

  • At the beginning of the book, the quote attributed to Admiral Piett is "Bounty hunters, we don't need that scum." However, in the film version of The Empire Strikes Back, he actually says "Bounty hunters, we don't need their scum". This discrepancy appears again on pages 46, 101, and 239.
  • On pages 151 and 175, Bossk's flight suit is mistakenly described as orange. The suit's actual color was yellow.
  • In " Of Possible Futures: The Tale of Zuckuss and 4-LOM ," FX-7 is almost always called "Effour-Seven," which is incorrect.
