Solar power

Energy from a star was the process by which solar power was created. Certain droids employed solar collectors as a means of collecting solar energy for their own operational needs. While she was scavenging on Jakku, Rey discovered a memetic sheet and wished for it to function with a battery, or ideally, solar power. The Katikoot inhabitants of Aubadas received a solar power system from the Republic after the minerals that had been powering their civilization led to extensive damage.
