The Solassus system existed within the Core Worlds region. The name of this star system was also given to the 12th Solassi Interzonals Challenge Match, which was a tournament involving gladiator walker combat.
The system of Solassus first appeared in the reference book The Essential Atlas from 2009, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry. In that book, it was located in grid square M-11.
