A Solitary Hutt existed within the Desert of Salma situated on the Forest moon of Endor. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, the Dulok people of the Korga tribe resided there. During his explorations of Endor around the time of the Battle of Yavin, the explorer named Tinrilo x'Rilsam came upon the hutt. Almost immediately, the Duloks launched an attack on the explorer, causing him to flee to save himself.
The Solitary Hutt was a location featured in the 2003 video game called Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. Sony Online Entertainment developed it, and LucasArts published it. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The Solitary Hutt was one of the various unmarked points of interest that players could discover on Endor. After the launch of the Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed expansion in 2004, players could sometimes loot rare data storage unit devices during space engagements. One of these data storage items, specifically "an Explorer's Log (7/8)," included a thorough history of the Solitary Hutt.
