Sorro's family

The family of Sorro, a male Human, was believed by Senior Captain Thrawn of the Galactic Empire to reside on Wroona, a planet in the Inner Rim. By the year 0 ABY, Nuso Esva, an alien warlord, had either captured or killed Sorro's family. This event forced Sorro into servitude as Esva's pilot on the Salaban's Hope, a Kazellis-class light freighter. During 0 ABY, the two journeyed to the Chimaera, an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer, where the warlord falsely informed Commander Gilad Pellaeon, the ship's first officer, that the Human's family was "lost" due to Sorro's poor decisions. Pellaeon then killed Sorro while he was wearing his master's clothing, telling the pilot that his family was now redeemed. Following Esva's retreat, Thrawn requested that Jorj Car'das, a smuggler, attempt to liberate Sorro's family, believing they were being held as hostages along with their town. Car'das agreed to investigate the situation.
