Sprywing was a capper spineflap that inhabited the mountainous regions of the Gallo Mountains, specifically in the vicinity of Dee'ja Peak on the planet Naboo. In the year 1 ABY, Walker Luskeske, a hunter, commissioned a spacer to eliminate the creature and retrieve its talons to serve as a memento.
Sprywing was featured in the video game Star Wars Galaxies from 2003, a large-scale online role-playing game (massively multiplayer online roleplaying game) created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Sprywing's inclusion in the game occurred during the "Legacy Quest" update, which was implemented with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
