Spumani

The Spumani represented a splinter group that had diverged from the established religious practices of the Children of Mani.

Beliefs

The core tenet of Spumani belief centered around the idea that Mani, the originator of their faith, had imparted a clandestine instruction: that continuous self-testing was the exclusive path to achieving salvation.

History

A religious divide led to the Spumani breaking away from the mainstream Grumani, which then ignited a protracted conflict between the two factions that spanned eight centuries. This struggle persisted until the Sith arrived in the Grumani sector during the era of the New Sith Wars. Eventually, the animosity between the two groups diminished, evolving into a state of simple, reciprocal contempt.
