A spy shuttle refers to a type of spacecraft that the New Republic Defense Force utilized around 17 ABY. During the Black Fleet Crisis, Commodore Han Solo was traveling aboard a spy shuttle headed towards the Fifth Fleet located within the Koornacht Cluster when a Yevethan vessel forcibly pulled him out of hyperspace. The Yevetha then proceeded to disable his accompanying starfighters and capture Solo, intending to exploit his capture to gain political advantage over his wife, Leia Organa Solo, who held the position of Chief of State.
