Squollyhawlk

Squollyhawlks were enormous, worm-shaped entities that originated from Arorua. In the year 44 BBY, one of these creatures almost brought about the demise of Obi-Wan Kenobi while he was visiting the planet. The squollyhawlk possessed a deceptive facade on the upper part of its head; this was designed to trick potential meals into thinking it was a smaller animal concealed within the surrounding plant life. It would then launch a surprise attack on its prey.

If the mandibles of a Squollyhawlk were crushed, they became defenseless. This injury would prevent them from being able to consume food, ultimately leading to their death.
