Morag and her staff. The Staff of Morag represented a potent artifact, deeply connected to the Force. This item was wielded by Morag, the Tulgah witch. Subsequent to the Sunstar's disappearance, Morag embedded the gem within the staff's head, thereby amplifying both the staff's capabilities and her personal strength. Nevertheless, Logray, an Ewok Shaman, harnessed his own abilities to shatter the Sunstar, dividing it into two pieces. Logray successfully fled with the Sunstar's yellow fragment, leaving Morag in possession of the purple fragment, known as the Shadowstone. Even with just a portion of the original gem, Morag retained the Shadowstone inside the staff. After her ultimate confrontation with Logray, Morag managed to restore the Sunstar by reassembling its two halves and placing it back on her staff. However, soon after this, the staff met its end when Morag employed it to trigger the volcano situated in Mount Thunderstone.
By means of her staff, Morag was capable of executing a diverse array of feats, spanning from generating energy projectiles to exerting influence over the thoughts of other creatures. When she intended to strike adversaries with her staff, Morag would strike the ground with it, producing an elongated energy stream that would pursue and assault Morag's targets. Furthermore, Morag had the capacity to utilize the staff to control the flora present on Endor.
