A male pilot named Standro Jcir, a Rodian hailing from Rodia, flew an X-wing starfighter for the New Republic Defense Force during the Galactic Civil War. In the year 4 ABY, just before the New Republic's invasion targeting the Imperial controlled Brentaal system, Jcir became a member of the renowned Rogue Squadron. During that invasion, Jcir, identified as "Rogue Twelve", along with his new squadron, supported Admiral Ackbar's fleet in their successful capture of the Brentaal Moonbase, which was in orbit around the affluent planet Brentaal IV. In the course of the battle for the moon base, Rogue Squadron discovered the presence of the Empire's formidable 181st TIE Fighter Wing defending Brentaal IV. Following the moon's capture, Rogue Squadron launched an attack on Vuultin, the capital city of Brentaal IV, with the intention of drawing Imperial defense capabilities away from the Republic's actual objective: the spaceport city of Oradin. Once Oradin was secured, Rogue Squadron was redeployed to Vuultin to thwart the Empire's efforts to evacuate its wealthy population. However, during the intense starfighter combat of this engagement, Jcir's X-wing was struck by an Imperial anti-air gun, resulting in the crash of Jcir's starfighter and the death of the Rodian pilot.
Hailing from the planet Rodia, Standro Jcir was a male pilot who flew a T-65 X-wing starfighter for the New Republic Defense Force during the Galactic Civil War, fighting against the Galactic Empire. Jcir joined the elite Rogue Squadron in 4 ABY, six months following the Battle of Endor. He served under the command of Captain Wedge Antilles and was stationed at the New Republic's clandestine Base Delta-Nine. Prior to his assignment to this renowned squadron, Jcir had already participated in thirteen combat missions on behalf of the New Republic. Alongside fellow new recruits Dar Keyis and Avan Beruss, both Humans, and Xarcce Huwla, a Tunroth, Jcir was welcomed by Captain Antilles (who arrived slightly late due to a debriefing from a prior mission) and introduced to his new comrades by Lieutenant Derek Klivian.
The inclusion of Jcir and the other new members into Rogue Squadron was prompted by Admiral Ackbar's desire to bring the squadron up to full operational strength in preparation for the New Republic's planned assault on the wealthy Imperial planet of Brentaal IV. Jcir, who was assigned the call sign "Rogue Twelve", and the rest of Rogue Squadron underwent an accelerated training program consisting of four weeks' worth of intensive flight holosimulations compressed into a two-week period to prepare them for the impending attack on Brentaal.
Upon completion of their training, Rogue Squadron joined Admiral Ackbar's New Republic fleet, launching from Recopia, to capture the Brentaal Moonbase in orbit around Brentaal IV. Jcir and Dar Keyis were among those who perished in the battle.
