Hasbro Inc. launched a wide-ranging assortment of products tied to the 2015 Star Wars movie, specifically Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. This product range was first shown to the public at Force Friday in September of 2015. A picture of Kylo Ren was included on the product packaging. The product line also featured figures originating from outside of the movie, but the packaging continued to use Kylo Ren's image, although the "The Force Awakens" subtitle was omitted from underneath the Star Wars logo.
