Star Wars: Unlimited, a collectible card game, is brought to you by Fantasy Flight Games. Its debut was in 2024 with the Spark of Rebellion set. The game's design is credited to Danny Schaefer, Tyler Parrot, and Jeremy Zwirn.
The game's creation process began around the middle of 2020, with Danny Schaefer heading up the game design. Schaefer, together with designer Jim Cartwright, envisioned a Star Wars themed collectible card game that would be both enjoyable and easy to pick up. After experimenting with various gameplay concepts, the fundamental structure of the game solidified around several key elements, including the resource management system, the concept of a deck led by a leader card, and the division of play into space and ground arenas. Jeremy Zwirn and Tyler Parrot, both senior game designers, joined the project during the development phase of the initial set, Spark of Rebellion.
