Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights is a series of young-adult novels, considered part of Legends, penned by Kevin J. Anderson together with Rebecca Moesta. The story unfolds in 23 ABY, chronicling the exploits of Jedi twins Jacen and Jaina Solo. The Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights collection consists of fourteen books, released by Berkley Boulevard between 1995 and 1998. Simultaneously, a related series, Star Wars: Junior Jedi Knights, was also being published.
The Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights series was later re-released as part of several Science Fiction Book Club editions, including: The Rise of the Shadow Academy (1996), The Fall of the Diversity Alliance (1998), Under Black Sun (1999), Jedi Shadow (2002), and Jedi Sunrise (2003).
