Star Wars Adventures represents a continuing collection of Star Wars comic books presented as an anthology. Initially, the planned launch date for this series was May 20, 2020; however, the COVID-19 pandemic caused IDW Publishing to halt all comic book releases for May 2020. Ultimately, the series kicked off with the debut of the first issue on October 7, 2020, and concluded with its final issue approximately eighteen months afterward on February 9, 2022.
