Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope (junior novelization)


Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, alternatively known as Star Wars Trilogy: A New Hope, is a junior novel from Legends written by Ryder Windham, drawing from the story and screenplay created by George Lucas. It's an adaptation of the 1977 motion picture Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and its initial release was in October 2004 by Scholastic.

Subsequently, the novel was included in Star Wars Trilogy: Collector's Edition (2005), Star Wars Boxed Set: Episodes I–VI (2007), and Star Wars: Classic Trilogy (2014). A canon version of the novel, revised and titled Star Wars: A New Hope, saw publication in 2017.
