Star Wars Miniatures Battles Companion
Star Wars Miniatures Battles Companion is a rulebook crafted by Stephen Crane for the Star Wars Miniatures Battles game, brought to players by West End Games. This initial supplement to the game system, released in 1994, expanded gameplay with the introduction of rules governing vehicles and flight. Moreover, it featured corrections and modifications to existing rules, alongside fresh and optional regulations, new gear, a segment dedicated to unit markings and structure, and a compilation of game scenarios, offering guidance on orchestrating linked scenario campaigns.
Scenarios
The Companion featured a total of five scenarios. One of these was Objective: Retrieval, a scenario that can be played on its own. The remaining four scenarios comprised a campaign titled A Time for Silence, where rebel troops aimed to obliterate an Imperial communications hub. While the initial three scenarios (Pulling the Plug, To Seize the Bay, and Through the Backdoor) were self-contained, their results directly influenced the concluding scenario, King of the Mountain.
