Curtis Saxton


Curtis Saxton penned a pair of books belonging to the Incredible Cross-Sections collection. Furthermore, he was credited as a consultant on two other technical reference books related to Star Wars, and contributed technical expertise to other projects.

Holding a doctorate in astrophysics obtained from the University of Sydney, Dr. Saxton is presently engaged in postdoctoral research at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory, which is part of University College London.

His journey in Star Wars technical writing commenced with the unofficial Star Wars Technical Commentaries, a collection of in-depth papers that investigated the characteristics and boundaries of Star Wars technology. The initial Commentaries were published online in February of 1995.
