The Starknife represented a customized D9 Runner light freighter manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards, and it belonged to Kalend Thora, a Duros smuggler. Kalend Thora came into possession of the Starknife following the demise of its initial owner, a colleague within Black Sun, who was attacked and murdered by an unidentified group.
