The Storm Carrier, a warship modified from a hoverbarge, served as the primary operational hub for the second-in-command of the InterStellar Regulators, a mercenary group. This group was contracted by the Hutt Cartel while they were occupying Makeb. Ultimately, a Republic assault team destroyed the carrier because the mercenaries' activities during the occupation were impeding the Republic's attempts to provide aid.
