Storthus, located in the Mid Rim's Churba sector, was a barren planet. It served as the native homeworld for the massive stone eels, a native species that consisted of animate rock.
In the PC video game called Star Wars: Rebellion, there is an error that incorrectly locates the Churba Sector, and therefore Storthus, within the Outer Rim.
The in-game encyclopedia of Rebellion identifies Storthus as the origin point of "giant stone eels." It's possible this is a deliberate nod to the enormous exogorths, or space slugs, which appeared in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
