Sue Rostoni served as both the executive editor and the editor for both fiction and comics at Lucas Licensing.
Beginning in 1992, Rostoni began the process of curating a Star Wars timeline, documenting significant occurrences and the lifetimes of various characters.
She possessed access to the extensive photographic resources of Lucasfilm and furnished Joe Hutsko with concept illustrations and storyboard drafts from the Original trilogy for use in his publication, Star Wars: Rebel Assault: The Official Insider's Guide.
Rostoni contributed in some capacity to the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire multimedia undertaking; she put together a collection of images and approximate size specifications for the spacecraft featured in the project, intended to guide the work of other creators involved.
In her capacity at Lucas Licensing, Rostoni bore the responsibility of overseeing the printed materials of the Expanded Universe. She collaborated with Shelly Shapiro from Del Rey and James Luceno in 1998 to strategize the development of the New Jedi Order series.
The Revenge of the Sith character known as Eeusu Estornii, played by Jacqui Louez, received her name as a tribute to Rostoni. Nevertheless, the character was ultimately removed from the film's final cut. Esu Rotsino together with the R0/5T.N1 tree feeder also bore names derived from Rostoni's.
Rostoni maintained a blog on StarWars.com under the pseudonym Eeusu Estornii. On June 9, 2011, StarWars.com made the announcement that Rostoni was planning to retire from her role as Star Wars editor in July.
