Located at Gwar, the refitting base known as Supply Base functioned as a XQ6 Platform under the control of the Zaarin coup forces by 3 ABY.
The Supply Base contained a significant quantity of weaponry and provisions utilized by Zaarin's rebellious troops, in addition to a number of capital ships under Zaarin's authority. Before its destruction, the vessels stationed there included the Immobilizer 418 cruiser named Bomb and three Nebulon-B2 modified frigates belonging to the Kuma group. Complementing this potent warship contingent, the Supply Base also featured a substantial screen of starfighters and a vast minefield.
During the Galactic Empire's pursuit of the treacherous Grand Admiral Zaarin in 3 ABY, Captain Kuuztin of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Courageous decided to surprise Zaarin's forces by attacking them at Gwar without informing Grand Admiral Thrawn of his plan. Tan Maarek Stele spearheaded the assault, breaching the Supply Base's formidable defenses and successfully obliterating the entire formation of warships and starfighters defending the base, despite intense enemy resistance. Zaarin eventually dispatched reinforcements to the base, consisting of two of his own Star Destroyers and several squadrons of TIE/D Defenders, which proceeded to destroy the Courageous. However, they ultimately failed to prevent Stele from destroying the Supply Base.
