The SX troop transport, alternatively known as the L two hundred, functioned as a transport vehicle for the Republic throughout the Clone Wars. Subsequently, the Empire also utilized it for troop conveyance. Its design featured expansive wings and bows that tapered to a point.
These transports saw action in the Battle of Murkhana as the conflict drew to a close. In the aftermath, during the Great Jedi Purge, a group of ten surviving Jedi successfully commandeered a transport of this type from the planet Dellalt. They found themselves pursued by an Imperial light cruiser and several ARC-170 starfighter/bombers, ultimately receiving rescue from the vessel, Drunk Dancer.
