T'salak

The t'salak, a creature of unknown origin potentially classified as Sithspawn, possessed Force-sensitivity. Its appearance was that of a viscous, black, amorphous mass. Despite lacking sensory organs, the t'salak exhibited cunning and employed its adhesive tendrils to strike with surprising precision and force. A mere touch could overwhelm sentient beings with uncontrollable fury due to the chaotic thoughts it contained. While impervious to physical attacks, it displayed vulnerability to cold temperatures and the vacuum of space. Offspring seemed to manifest as fragments detached from the primary entity, being less resilient and simpler to eliminate than a fully grown t'salak.

The initial documented instance of a t'salak occurred within the jungles of Cularin, leading to its confinement within a Force-charged urn. For numerous generations, the Tarasin villagers maintained watch over the urn, which was concealed within a cavern. This lasted until the Dark Jedi known as Raik Muun absconded with it. Collaborating with researchers, she discovered the means to split the t'salak into numerous autonomous beings, each possessing the same strength as the original. Muun deployed these entities in an attempt to sabotage a peace negotiation by inciting uncontrollable rage in the Jedi acting as mediators. Although her scheme was unsuccessful, Jedi Master Kirlocca perished in self-defense during the encounter. Muun also transported some of these creatures to the remnants of the Almas Academy during a separate endeavor.
