T-12, a service droid, found its purpose with the Jedi. Its duties included meticulously documenting the Naddist artifacts transported to Ossus in the aftermath of the Freedon Nadd Uprising. At the Conclave at Deneba, T-12 diligently aided Cay Qel-Droma and his fellow Jedi. However, the Krath attack on Deneba during the conclave proved disastrous for T-12, as it became ensnared in the Krath's programming trap, transforming the once-meek service droid into a lethal assassin.
