A lightsaber with a blue blade was the personal weapon of Tahl, the Noorian Jedi Master. This lightsaber accompanied the Jedi on numerous missions, notably including those to Telos IV, Centax-2, and New Apsolon.
Tahl uses her blue lightsaber to defend herself against attackers on Telos IV.
Before her death on New Apsolon, Tahl was abducted by Balog, the Absolutist Chief of Security. Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master, and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, sensed something amiss and discovered an empty room with Tahl's lightsaber discarded in a small container. Jinn held onto the lightsaber for a short time before giving it to Kenobi, whose own weapon was in the process of recharging. The young Padawan pledged to safeguard it. It is believed that this lightsaber was destroyed when Tahl's remains were brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for a funeral.
