This announcement has been duplicated on the discussion pages for Cathar/Legends, Cathar, and also Cathar/Legends.
Just a friendly reminder: the naming policy prioritizes planets and other celestial bodies over species when they share a name, with one exception: when the species holds significantly more importance than the planet (like the Falleen). My opinion is that this holds true for the Cathar, in both canon and Legends continuities. - It should also be noted that the canon Cathar location hasn't been verified as a planet, so the planet-first rule doesn't technically apply in this situation. Regardless, the species seems to have greater importance in both continuities, so the move seems appropriate.
