The tank beast represented a war creature utilized by the Yuuzhan Vong. This heavily armored and enormous creature possessed sizable legs equipped with claws, and it could unleash both flames and corrosive acid from its maw. In 28 ABY, during the Battle of the World-Well, one such beast was deployed to fight Ganner Rhysode; however, Rhysode managed to eliminate it by collapsing the ceiling upon it.
