Within the Tarabba system was the planet Tarabba Prime, the closest significant center for both shipping and communications in relation to the Utapau system located in the Tarabba sector. Moreover, a Galactic Empire storage facility was located in this system, which the Rebel Alliance attacked and successfully raided sometime around 3 ABY.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry and published in 2009, provided the first mention of the Tarabba system, specifying its location as grid square M-19.
