Task Force Token was a unit among the five task forces comprising the New Republic Second Fleet within the New Republic Defense Fleet's structure. During the period of the Black Fleet Crisis, Token found itself temporarily reporting to the Fifth Battle Group, working alongside Task Force Bellbright under the leadership of Admiral Tolokus. This task force played a role in General Etahn A'baht's strategic initiative, which reached its apex with Operation Strong Hand, and it was among the final task forces to participate in the Battle of N'zoth.
