Team Twelve, a group of stormtroopers responsible for responding to incidents, was positioned on an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. During the time that the Rebel astromech droid R2-D2 was on the Star Destroyer as part of a rescue operation for C-3PO, the droid's actions created disarray on the ship, which led to Team Twelve and Team Nine engaging in friendly fire.
