The Techrats were a youthful swoop gang active around 33 BBY on the planet of Cerea. This group consisted of tech-savvy adolescents who preferred aligning with the Republic, choosing to move away from the traditional, less advanced methods favored by the Elders. To conceal their identities, they applied paint to their faces.
Without realizing it, these young individuals found themselves entangled in a scheme orchestrated by a dishonest Elder. This involved illegally importing forbidden technology in return for valuable Cerean minerals.
Skeel was their leader, but he tragically died in a swoop racing incident at the Outsider Citadel. Other members of the gang included individuals such as Maj-Odo-Nomor, Sylvn, Twin, and Kordren.
