Sylvn (Cerean)

Sylvn was a Cerean female who was biologically related to Ki-Adi-Mundi as his daughter with his fourth spouse, Mawin.

Biography

Sylvn's birth occurred in 49 BBY, and she developed a tendency for impulsivity and rebellion in her younger years. At the age of six, Sylvn created a drawing in her classroom depicting an angry face, which her teacher subsequently showed to her parents. Mundi and Mawin expressed their concerns regarding Sylvn's developmental progress and her strong opposition to their views. Feeling inadequately treated, she harbored frustration, which she justified to herself with pride.

Around 33 BBY, Sylvn unknowingly found herself entangled in a smuggling operation that involved Ephant Mon, an operative working for Jabba the Hutt, as well as a member of the Cerean Elders. When this illicit transaction deteriorated, Sylvn, along with her boyfriend Maj-Odo-Nomor and her friend Twin, became confined on a freighter that was transporting 2,000 adult divviks in addition to Ephant Mon. When her father, Ki-Adi-Mundi, arrived to liberate her, Mon threatened to detonate the entire vessel. Maj-Odo-Nomor made an attempt to subdue Mon, but he was shot. Ki-Adi-Mundi successfully rescued his daughter by manually activating the external hatch. Regrettably, Mon also survived, and Jabba subsequently enslaved both Sylvn and her friend, Twin. Ki-Adi-Mundi eventually executed a rescue operation, saving the two from impending execution during an electrical storm.

In 22 BBY, Sylvn, along with the remainder of Ki-Adi-Mundi's family, met her demise during a devastating battle fought on her native planet between the forces of the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
