Teef Lan Cody was the parent of Zahara Cody, the Chief medical officer serving on the Galactic Empire's prison barge known as the Purge. The mother of Zahara was his romantic partner. His child dispatched a communication to him, indicating that Teef's prior assessment had been accurate, and that Zahara intended to come back and become a member of an unidentified organization. Zahara also penned a subsequent, briefer note detailing a medical situation impacting the Purge, leading to fatalities, widespread disruption, and instances of suicide. This medical situation transformed the infected into literal zombies. She communicated that the virus was unaffected by isolation and quarantine measures, and she anticipated her own infection was just a matter of time.
