This group of unknown identity operated during the time that the Imperial prison barge Purge was being used, with Zahara Cody holding the position of chief medical officer. Teef Lan Cody, Zahara's father, knew about this group, and his offspring chose to become a member.
Behind the scenes
In Death Troopers: Recovered Messages from Purge, a companion piece to the novel Death Troopers, the organization's designation was removed from the words of an internal communication.
