Tekshar Falls

Tekshar Falls, a human-constructed waterfall towering at five-hundred meters, graced the Core World of Kuat. This impressive cascade was brought into being at considerable expense, achieved by rerouting a naturally flowing river to run through the entertainment district of Kuat City, the planetary capital. Tekshar Falls evolved into an opulent aquatic spectacle for the Tekshar Falls Casino, named after it, which was constructed amidst the falling water. The waterfall supplied the casino with hydroelectric power, independent of the power supply of Kuat City's grid, while automated force fields ensured the casino's interior remained dry. To gain access to the casino's entrance, gamblers had to traverse a segment of the Tekshar Falls, which would split open upon sensing approaching patrons through a motion sensor.
