Telsla was a criminal of the Abednedo race and male sex, and he functioned as the chief of his crew. He collaborated with Belk and Fleecs in their attempt to seize control of Tomarian's theater throughout the duration of the Tomarian's Annual Festival of Light Gala. Telsla was owed credits by Tomarian, however, Tomarian lacked the necessary funds to pay him. Disbelieving Tomarian's claims, the Abednedo began detonating sections of the theater. Subsequently, Telsla and Fleecs became aware that Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight who had been rendered unconscious earlier, had escaped. He was concerned by the presence of a Jedi at large and resolved to find Skywalker himself.
