Sticky

Intended Use and Application

The purpose of this template is to "stickify" a thread within the Senate Hall, Consensus track, or WP:TOR forums. By "stickify", we mean to make the thread consistently appear at the top of the forum's thread listing, regardless of its age. It's important to note that this effect is exclusive to the Senate Hall, Consensus track, and WP:TOR forums; it won't work in other forums. Furthermore, employing this template on a thread within any forum that JocastaBot automatically archives (currently the Senate Hall, Knowledge Bank, and Administrator's noticeboard) will prevent the bot from archiving that thread, irrespective of its inactivity. The template functions by assigning a category to the page, and it produces no visible on-screen elements. To implement it, insert the code directly after and on the same line as . This template should be used judiciously, typically for threads that need to remain prominently visible for extended durations or be easily locatable, but are at risk of being pushed off the first page due to inactivity.
