Upon the unfortunate demise of the renowned bounty hunter Boba Fett at the Pit of Carkoon, the Rebel Alliance came across a secure, blast-resistant case belonging to him, containing his personal effects. This case remained hidden for many years. Now, anyone interested can uncover the secrets it holds…
By pressing the buttons and inserting the data card, the case opens accompanied by sounds and lights. Inside lies a text of significant importance. At some point during his career, Boba Fett compiled the most recent edition of the Bounty Hunters Guild Handbook along with a manifesto originating from Death Watch, the clandestine splinter faction of Mandalorians. Together, these documents constitute The Bounty Hunter Code.
This handbook serves as a crucial guide for all bounty hunters. Experienced Guild members provide guidance for newcomers, a comprehensive list of essential tools and techniques for the "crimson trade," and the fundamentals of earning a living on the fringes of galactic law. Boba Fett has added his own notes and commentary in the margins, as have other bounty hunters such as Greedo, Bossk, and Dengar, all of whom previously possessed the Handbook.
The Death Watch volume, functioning as both an informational guide and a manifesto, delves into Death Watch history, philosophy, and discussions of key Mandalorian equipment: their iconic T-visors, celebrated armor, and impressive jetpacks. This Death Watch booklet was initially taken from Death Watch leader Tor Vizsla and given to Boba by his father, Jango Fett, and features handwritten notes from father to son. Boba in turn intended to leave it to his daughter, and so he's added his own annotations to aid in her education. The bounty hunter Aurra Sing and the pirate Hondo Ohnaka have added their commentary as well.
Nestled beneath The Bounty Hunter Code is Cradossk's memoir, Making a Killing, a stark account of his journey to the pinnacle of the Bounty Hunters Guild.
Created by the same minds behind Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side and The Jedi Path, in collaboration with Lucasfilm, The Bounty Hunter Code unveils the secrets of the hunt and offers insight into this demanding, dangerous, and misunderstood profession.
The case's contents include:
- The Bounty Hunter Code
- The 48-page memoirs of Cradossk, the former head of the Bounty Hunters Guild, featuring an inscription from the author addressed to Boba Fett
- A Kamino saberdart
- Boba Fett's captain's license
- Boba Fett's arms permit
- Slave I 's official operating license
- An Imperial wanted poster targeting Han Solo
- An inventory slip originating from the Rebel Alliance forces that discovered and confiscated Boba's property
