This article, titled The Calm Before the Storm, serves as a companion piece to the Living Force campaign and was authored by both August Hahn and Cynthia Hahn. It appeared on the Wizards of the Coast website on January 26, 2006. The article depicts an encounter involving the assassins Mr. Haque and Mr. Zlash and their target, Governor Barnab Chistor. The narrative sees the assassins poised to assassinate Chistor, only to realize they haven't been paid because their Separatist patron was executed and his assets were frozen.
