The Empire Strikes Back constitutes the sixth card expansion for the Star Wars Trading Card Game, a product of Wizards of the Coast. It draws its thematic basis from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. This expansion was initially released in November of 2003. The symbol representing this set is that of the Empire.

This expansion comprises a total of 210 cards, distributed as follows: 72 rare, 69 uncommon, and 69 common cards. Following Attack of the Clones, The Empire Strikes Back became the second expansion to be offered in starter sets, which included 60 cards, a playmat, a rulebook, and dice.
