A group of silicon-based, intelligent invertebrates that are related to mynocks came into being on a solitary asteroid situated within the MZX32905 system, which is located close to Bimmiel. These beings called their asteroid, which had been saturated with the dark side of the Force, by the name of "the Home." They possessed triangular, yellow eyes, and some of them had hands located on their wings.
These creatures sustained themselves by consuming stellar radiation and silicate-based substances. It is hypothesized that the residual dark side energies facilitated the evolution of these beings. It is believed that this explains why these creatures could only reproduce on the Home, an action they referred to as "the Return," and nowhere else in the galaxy.
These creatures fostered a rather sophisticated culture, complete with established social strata. They employed a method of record-keeping utilizing sculpture and tassels imbued with information.
At one juncture in their societal timeline, the ruling class retreated into the asteroid's subterranean caverns, thereby severing themselves from the stellar radiation essential for their survival. Ultimately, they became outcasts within their own caves, succumbing to starvation and barely subsisting on the mineral veins.
However, at some point, one of them managed to detect and harness the dark side energy that was already present. This individual ascended to the leadership position among the exiles. Utilizing their newly acquired abilities, this leader guided them to break free from their self-imposed exile and subjugate the other creatures inhabiting the asteroid's surface.
The new dark side regime possessed a wide array of potent Force abilities that were linked to their mynock heritage. They had the capacity to drain energy from living entities across vast distances, even from members of their own species. They were also capable of instantaneous communication across great distances, a feat that even the most accomplished Jedi were incapable of.
Eventually, the species met its end and became extinct. Nevertheless, their dark side echoes would persist for millennia and were eventually discovered by the Sith Lord Darth Vectivus.
