The Thranta-class War Cruiser represents one of the final starship types produced by the shipyards of Alderaan.
Following the conclusion of the Clone Wars and Alderaan's subsequent demilitarization efforts, the majority of the Thranta-class warships were dismantled. However, Fidelity, Courage, and Valiant avoided this fate and were instead tasked with protecting the Alderaanian War Frigate Another Chance, which had been transformed into a mobile weapons depot. Subsequently, during the events of the Bacta War, Rogue Squadron located and reclaimed the Valiant after it responded to the homing signal emitted by Tycho Celchu, the very same signal that Another Chance utilized.
