Thrantin

Thrantin, also known as OM813, served as the planetary base for both Barosa Warren and the Galactic Outdoor Survival School; its location was within the Ollonir Boundaries region, situated in the Colonies. It was a planet.

Sometime around 59 BBY, the Old Republic scout Barosa Warren opted for retirement and embarked on establishing a survival academy. He secured funding from acquaintances, enabling him to purchase OM813, which he then renamed Thrantin. Over the subsequent forty years, Warren dedicated himself to transforming Thrantin into a comprehensive training facility through extensive planetscaping. Despite acknowledging the value of instructing students across diverse planets, Warren prioritized a "controlled environment" to prevent any form of academic dishonesty. Consequently, he engineered features like Zero-G zones, an Ammonia Ocean, and the Heavy Grav Mountainous Zones.

From that point onward, Thrantin evolved into the planet-spanning Galactic Outdoor Survival School, overseen by Warren and his team of specialized instructors. Thrantin rose to prominence as a key institution, producing highly skilled scouts who found employment with various major factions throughout the galaxy.
