Tinté Vos was a female Kiffar. During the final years of the Galactic Republic, she governed the sister worlds of Kiffu and Kiffex and was the great-aunt of the Jedi Master Quinlan Vos, also a Kiffar.
Tinté's journey commenced as a Kiffu Guardian, where she ascended to leadership while her brother, Sheyf Kurlin Vos, presided over Kiffu and Kiffex with a more compassionate approach. Driven by a hunger for authority, she offered Pethros and Quian Vos, the parents of Quinlan Vos, as sacrifices to the Anzati. These Anzati were present on Kiffex to venerate "The Dreaming One," who was in reality the Anzati Dark Jedi Volfe Karkko.
Subsequently, she presented young Quinlan with his parents' guardian badges, intending to sway him to the dark side and groom him as her successor. This act infuriated Kurlin, who then authorized the Jedi Watchman Tholme to escort Quinlan to the Jedi Temple for instruction. In retaliation, Tinté murdered her brother, seizing his position as Sheyf.

Refusing to comply with Count Dooku's desire to transform Kiffu and Kiffex into a base for Separatist forces during the Clone Wars, Tinté met her end at the hands of Quinlan Vos, acting under Dooku's orders. This occurred after she was compelled to confess to the murder of Quinlan's parents, thus she was killed.
Following her demise, the Confederacy subjected Kiffu and Kiffex to oppression.
Sheyf Tinté Vos held staunch nationalist sentiments, viewing the Republic as a homogenizing influence that would exploit Kiffu and Kiffex for its own advantage. She felt no remorse for the sacrifices she made of her relatives, and this lack of regret ultimately led to her downfall.
The name "Tinté" appears in Jedi: Count Dooku. However, the Star Wars comic arcs Twilight and Darkness both spell her name as "Tinte."
